Fraternal House Directors Conference


The Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values is proud to support the House Directors and house corporation professionals and volunteers who play such a vital role in the chapter house and facility management of our undergraduate fraternity and sorority chapters. Each summer we host a national conference for House Directors and House Corporation board members and leaders.


The Fraternal House Directors Conference is the premier opportunity for fraternity and sorority House Directors and House Corporation staff and volunteers to gain valuable skills and keep up with the issues that impact them in today's ever changing campus environment. Whether you have ten years of experience or are just entering the field, this conference will provide a wealth of knowledge to enhance an already developed skill set.


The conference registration includes educational programs, an opening dinner, two lunches, and a closing session. Also included is an unforgettable tour of our host city.


Educational Experience

In 2018, we focused on the educational content on fraternity/sorority facilities operating as Community Learning Environments (CLEs), centered on the academic and social growth of facility residents. Topics included how House Directors can manage facilities in a way that create:

  • Supportive living environments for students.

  • Conditions for academic engagement & achievement. 

  • Intentional, impact conversation among residents. 

Additionally, educational experiences included time for round-table discussions on best practices in facility management.

Exhibit at the Conference!

Attracting roughly 75 house directors, #FHDC19 gives your organization a connection point that no other association can provide. Exhibiting at this conference is a great way to connect face-to-face with house directors who lead fraternities & sororities. They are the key decision makers about who/what they will bring to campus, what products and services they will buy, and in general, what organization they want to put their support and effort behind.
Note, in order to exhibit at #FHDC19, you must be an Organizational Partner. Organizational Partnership is an annual complimentary membership and provides access to numerous member benefits including exhibiting, sponsoring, and advertising opportunities and exclusive access to members through our online community and other outreach.
The #FHDC19 conference will take place June 20th-23rd, and the Partner Solutions Expo & Round Table Discussions will be on Friday, June 21st from 1:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Downtown in Louisville, KY. 


Again this year, we are offering first-come first-serve for all exhibitors. The earlier you sign up to be an exhibitor, the better! We hope to see you there!
