Connections Magazine

AFLV Connections is AFLV's quarterly magazine highlighting information, stories, best practices, and news that impact fraternity and sorority students and professionals. AFLV members receive two copies of each issue as a benefit of their membership and have the option of purchasing additional subscriptions. Subscriptions are also available for non-members to purchase. The main goal of Connections is to provide members with regular opportunities for development, a connection to AFLV and their peer members, and to provoke thought within members' communities that will enhance their fraternal experience and their leadership roles.

The publication schedule is Winter (February), Spring (April), Summer (September), and Fall (November).

Any person can submit work to Connections. All pieces should be submitted directly to Connections Editor via email at, for review by the Editorial Board. Before submitting, please review the Publication Guidelines. Several types of articles are welcomed for publication in Connections: feature articles provide the foundation for the issue's theme and several columns build upon that theme. These include, but are not limited to book reviews, best practices, people spotlights, council highlights, and helpful hints, checklists, and other information to assist in the leadership of any fraternity/sorority community.

Advertising in Connections is one of the best ways for your organization to connect with undergraduate student leaders who are the decision makers in their fraternal communities. Space is affordable and effective. Please contact Andrea Starks-Corbin, Marketing & Communications Manager to learn more about advertising in Connections

Connections is available to anyone. What a great way to help educate and develop your student leaders! The already low subscription price gets lower and lower the more you order. Consider providing this to every member of your governing councils or to every chapter president on your campus. You would be hard pressed to find a better, always consistent, and more cost-effective resource for those staff and students who work so hard to keep your fraternity/sorority community thriving.
