Conference Scholarships

We are pleased to provide scholarships to attend our two undergraduate conferences.

  • AFLV Central (incl. NBGLC): Deadline was Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Applications are now closed.
  • AFLV West (incl. NCGLC): Deadline is Wednesday, February 4, 2016.

Applicants may apply for as many scholarships as they are eligible for as stated in the criteria. Special thanks to those interfraternal friends that support AFLV and our programs.

Central & West: Sigma Kappa Foundation Scholarships

Criteria:  These scholarships are designated for Sigma Kappa members to attend either the Central and West conferences.

Amount: One (1) undergraduate registration scholarship ($265) for Central and One (1) undergraduate registration scholarship ($265) for West are available thanks to generous support from the Sigma Kappa Foundation. This scholarship is provided by the Sigma Kappa Foundation in honor of Betty Merman, a staunch supporter of the fraternal community through her service to the National Panhellenic Conference.

Central & West: Silent Auction Individual Scholarships

Criteria: Preference will be given to individual students from Greek councils who have not attended the conference.

Amount:  Five (5) registration and travel scholarships for undergraduate students ($265 each + $200 travel money).

Sponsored by funds raised during the conferences at the silent auction.



Central & West: Silent Auction Explore Institutional Scholarships:

Criteria: Explore AFLV Scholarships are intended for councils that have not attended a conference in the previous five years.  It would be our hope that the student leaders will represent various councils on campus.  It is a requirement that a staff member be part of the delegation.

Amount: Two (2) Explore Scholarships for Central and two (2) Explore Scholarships for West. Each scholarship includes registration for four students ($265 each) and one professional/advisor ($280) as well as allows for up to $500 of travel reimbursement. Hotel accommodations, meals not covered in conference registration, additional travel costs, and any other misc. expenses are the responsibility of the scholarship recipients.

The scholarships provides the opportunity to send a small delegation of students with one staff member in order to explore everything we have to offer through our conferences. Apply here
