AFLV Makes Donation to End Rape On Campus (EROC)

The Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values (AFLV) is proud to announce a donation of $1,000 to End Rape On Campus, as part of ongoing efforts to provide education and resources that support ending sexual assault in fraternities & sororities.

Ryan O’Rourke, AFLV Assistant Executive Director, shared, “We feel a sense of responsibility to support EROC in their work to end campus sexual violence, and look forward to new ways to partner with their team to connect their message to the students and campuses involved with AFLV. This donation is just a small way to show our commitment of the important work lying ahead.”

Sofie Karasek, EROC Director of Education, shared, “We’re so glad to be working with AFLV to address sexual violence on college campuses and in the Greek community. Engaging student leaders, particularly fraternity and sorority members who share our values of respect, honor, and integrity, in these important conversations is a critically important step towards changing our culture.”

Sofie also served as a Featured Speaker at AFLV Central 2016 in Indianapolis, IN and is slated to share her story in that same capacity AFLV West 2016, taking place in April in San Diego, CA.

The Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values exists to stimulate the growth and development of fraternity/sorority council and chapter leaders by promoting leadership, education, and values based experiences and resources for student leaders, their advisors, and the larger fraternal market.
