Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated Will Support AFLV Central/National Black Greek Leadership Conference Scholarships
The Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values (AFLV) is proud to announce a partnership with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. that will provide student scholarships to attend AFLV Central/National Black Greek Leadership Conference. AFLV Central/National Black Greek Leadership Conference is the largest undergraduate gathering of interfraternal student leaders in the country, held annually in Indianapolis. The 2016 conference will be February 4-7, 2016 with an anticipated attendance to exceed 3,000 students and campus-based professionals.
The five Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority scholarships will be dedicated to one individual within each of its designated regions, inclusive of Central, Northeastern, Southeastern, Southwestern and Western. Scholarships will include full conference registration and a $200 travel stipend to offset the costs of travel to attend.
“Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority is excited to work with AFLV by offering scholarships. We support your mission to educate and cultivate students while providing leadership resources. This training and development will continue to move the fraternal community forward,” said Bonita M. Herring, International President, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
In addition to these scholarships, additional individual scholarships are available and a limited number of council scholarships reserved for a delegation from a campus that does not regularly attend the AFLV Central conference.
