The Hotel Maya
The Hotel Maya, a Doubletree hotel, is located on the scenic downtown Long Beach waterfront. It is an upscale resort hotel with accommodations fusing Latin American and Southern California styles. Reflecting the eclectic and vibrant lifestyle of Long Beach, the newly renovated hotel features spacious rooms with stunning views and a tropical, heated outdoor swimming pool.
Guests are at the epicenter of Long Beach attractions and oceanfront fun. Across from the historic Queen Mary and a very brief, free shuttle ride to the fascinating Aquarium of the Pacific are just two of the nearest attractions. There are dozens of dinning destinations, extensive cultural offerings and the colorful East Village Arts District… all close and convenient.
RESERVATIONS
Each attendee and guest is responsible for making his/her hotel reservations. Contact the hotel directly by calling 562-435-7676. Both single and double garden view rooms are available at a special conference rate of $149 plus tax and there is a $15 per night charge for each additional guest over two per room. The reservation deadline is May 29, 2012. The group rate is available for two days before and after the conference; be sure to mention the AFLV House Directors Conference to receive the conference rate. Cancellations within 48 hours from the date of arrival will be billed for one night’s room and tax.
AFLV has reserved a limited number of rooms at this special contracted rate and they are available on a first come/first serve basis. Once the AFLV block is full, we cannot guarantee the availability of rooms or the rate of the rooms that may be available. Make your reservations early to ensure that you get the conference rate. AFLV cannot be responsible for ensuring that all of our attendees get the conference hotel or that they receive the conference rate.
Post-Conference Trip Hotel
Post Conference Trip pricing does not include hotel accomodations. Participants should make reservations by contacting the hotel directly and asking for the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values rate.
The Roosevelt Hotel
Located 233 feet from Grauman’s Chinese Theater and just across the street from the famous Walk Of Fame, The Roosevelt Hotel is a wonderful locations for exploring Hollywood.
There is a massage garden on site, a historic stunning Olympic-size outdoor pool and Tropicana Pool refreshment area. Refreshments are available at The Library bar and The Spare Room which features vintage bowling lanes. Eclectic American cuisine is offered at the Public Kitchen and Bar, one of the nine restaurants on site.
This is the perfect opportunity to bring a friend, special relative and/or grandchildren.
RESERVATIONS
Kings and Double Deluxe rooms are available at the conference rate of $194 plus tax until May 15. For those who would like to arrive early or stay late, these rates are good through June 29. The conference rate may not be available after May 15, but space may be available. Call 800-950-7667 to make your reservation.
