SCHOLARSHIPS

We are pleased to offer a number of registration scholarships for attendees at the West Fraternal Leadership Conference and the National Cultural Greek Leadership Conference. Special thanks to our interfraternal partners who support the Association and our participants in this manner.

AFLV West Silent Auction Scholarships:

Five (5) registration and travel scholarships for undergraduate students ($240.00 each + $200 travel money) are sponsored by funds raised during the AFLV West Fraternal Leadership Conference.  Preference will be given to individual students from Greek councils who have not attended the conference.

Alpha Sigma Phi Scholarships:

Four (4) registration scholarships for undergraduate students ($240.00 each) are sponsored by Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, Inc.  Preference will be given to individuals who are members of culturally-based fraternities/sororities that may otherwise not attend the conference.  Alpha Sigma Phi believes in leadership programming that helps individuals develop the skills and tools critical for intellectual, academic, and professional growth.

Zeta Tau Alpha Scholarships:

Two (2) registration scholarships for undergraduate students ($240.00 each) are sponsored by Zeta Tau Alpha.  One scholarship is designated first for a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, the second is open for any participant.  Preference will be given to individuals who are members of culturally-based fraternities/sororities that may otherwise not attend the conference.  Zeta Tau Alpha believes in leadership programming that helps individuals develop the skills and tools critical for intellectual, academic, and professional growth.

Explore AFLV Institutional Scholarships:

Additionally, we are offering two Explore AFLV scholarships.  These are intended for institutions that have not attended AFLV (WRGA) in the previous five years.  The scholarship provides the opportunity to send a small delegation of students with one staff member in order to explore everything we have to offer through our joint AFLV West/NCGLC Conference.  The scholarship provides registration for four undergraduate student leaders ($240.00 each) and one staff advisor ($260.00).  It would be our hope that the student leaders will represent various councils on campus.  It is a requirement that a staff member be part of the delegation.   Additionally, the scholarship provides a total of up to $500.00 for travel reimbursement.  Hotel accommodations,  meals not covered in conference registration, additional travel costs, and any other misc. expenses are the responsibility of the scholarship recipients.  This Scholarship is worth a total of $1720.00.
