AFLV Central is proud to offer individuals and councils special scholarships and honors. Following is a list of the scholarships and honors currently offered by the Association.
This scholarship is available for any council who has never attended an AFLV Central conference in the past. It may be awarded to only one council per year.
The Dealph Award is given to one outstanding Greek Professional each year from the AFLV Central Region. Any undergraduate student who appreciates the efforts of their Advisor may nominate candidates.
The Little Award is presented to one council each year that has not participated in the AFLV Council Awards process in the previous four years and who are applying for at least one award this year.
The Wayne S. Colvin Award is given to an undergraduate Greek leader who far exceeds the Greek standard of excellence. It may be awarded annually to one man or woman who is committed to improving himself or herself as well as others.
This award has been established to recognize an outstanding fraternity or sorority alumna/us volunteer and/or an individual who supports the fraternal movement but is not a campus fraternity/sorority advisor.
This award is presented to only one campus annually. It is intended to recognize innovation at the highest level. New in 2010 - This award is being presented as part of an application or nomination process for the first time.
